Leer Photography is excited to be your sports photographer for the 2024 spring season. We have our spring Press Days scheduled for April 15, 16, and 17, 2024. The photos will be taken at the Arendtsville Borough Building – 1 Chestnut Street, Arendtsville, PA 17303.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time with your order form and appropriate payment. This season the board has decided to have Leer Photography offer green screen photography for your spring soccer sports portraits. This is the more contemporary style of photography that we did in the spring. We got a lot of positive feedback regarding this style and option. Every player will need to have their individual portrait taken, even if they are not purchasing pictures, so that we can creatively put the individual portraits together to make a “group” portrait for the memory mates. With this design the poses must be three quarter length poses.
Please do NOT wear your cleats into the building. If you are wearing a t-shirt under your jersey, please make sure the shirt is black.
Even though we will be doing the green screen for our photos, each team member must show up during their team’s scheduled session time. This will ensure successful inclusion of all participants on each team without error.
Order forms have been delivered to the press day coordinator/coaches, but for your convenience, I’ve also attached digital copies of our sports order form (front and back) and a copy of our sport’s specialty products. Also attached is a copy of our Sports Brochure explaining our process.
The board has also chosen to offer the “Magnet Fundraiser” this year. Every player that orders a memory mate through our studio will have one 3.5×5 magnet made of their player. These magnets will be given to the board to sell to the parents. 100% of the profits made from this fundraiser will be given directly to the organization. This is just one way that we, at Leer Photography, can give back to the organization and to the community.
Please remember that the memory mates are of the individual player and the group portrait. If you would like to order a “Buddy Photo”, please mark the order form at the bottom of the front page. When your child hands the order form to our assistant, please make sure he/she informs our staff that a “Buddy Photo” was purchased and have the buddy standing beside them when they are in line. All Buddy’s must be from the same league and a maximum of 3 individuals in a Buddy portrait. You MUST purchase a 5×7 or an 8×10 of the Buddy Photo first and then you may add on additional ala carte images after that purchase.
If you have more than one child in the league and would like to pay with one check, you may. Please put the check in the envelope of the first child being photographed. Write on the top of the envelope, payment for first child’s name and for the other child/children’s names and the team’s they are on and time their portraits will be taken.
Leer Photography gives each volunteer coach in your team portrait one complimentary 4×6 picture of them and their child/children. If you have more than one child participating in the league, even if they are on other teams, you may have them in your one complimentary portrait. Leer Photography donates this portrait as a thank you for volunteering your time to the organization. We appreciate your willingness to give back to the players of our community!
If you are not able to attend your scheduled green screen press day portrait time and you wish to purchase photos, please contact Leer Photography directly at least two weeks prior to the league’s press days. Call their studio at 717-528-7535. You must schedule a “remake” time to have your portraits taken to be included in the group portrait. The cost to this “remake” appointment is $10.00. If you do not contact Leer Photography at least 2 weeks prior to press days, your portrait will not be taken. All “remake” session are scheduled the ½ hour before the regular sessions start, but by appointment only. If special arrangements need to be made at Leer’s studio, additional fees will be charged.
Please remember that all press day orders are done as “pre-paid orders”. There are no online ordering options for our sports portraits.
